| In the recent meeting of the Admission Board of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM & DC), merit criteria for Admissions in Public and Private Sector Medical and Dental Colleges 2019 are changed. According to Regulations 2019 merit will be prepared on the basis of the following ratio. |
- HSSC or Equivalent Weightage: 50%
- Entrance Test Weightage: 50%
- Marks obtained in HSSC or Equivalent divide by 1100 and multiply by 50 => (HSSC/1100) x 50
- Marks obtained in Entrance Test divide by 200 and multiply by 50 => (Test Marks/200) x 50
- Add value from point 1 and point 2.
Example For Pakistani Nationals / Seats
- Marks Obtained in HSSC = 910 Out of 1100
- Marks Obtained in Entrance Test = 140 Out of 200
By Applying Aggregate Formula
( (910/1100) x 50 ) + ((140/200) x 50) => 41.364 + 35 => 76.364 Use the below calculator to find your aggregate.
For Foreign Self Finance Seats
- Marks obtained A-Levels or Equivalent divide by 900 and multiply by 50 => (A-Levels/900) x 50
- Marks obtained in SAT-II/MCAT divide by 2400 and multiply by 50 => (SAT-II/MCAT/2400) x 50
- Add value from point 1 and point 2.
Example For Foreign Seats
- Marks Obtained in A-Levels = 700 Out of 900
- Marks Obtained SAT-II/MCAT= 2100 Out of 2400
By Applying Aggregate Formula
((700/900) x 50) + ((2100/2400) x 50) => 38.889 + 43.75 => 82.639
